What is the difference between long code and short code?

A long code looks like a regular mobile number +46 73600XXXX.  Your customer can reply to your message by using the long code. A short code is a number between 4-7 digits i.e. 72345. Short codes are country specific and your customer can only reply or use the short code in the country it is set up in. Short codes are easy to remember however more expensive than long codes. A short code can either be a dedicated number or a shared number.
